Our story is a blend of heritage, passion, and a deep respect for nature. Max, a fifth-generation winemaker, carries forward the legacy of his great-great-grandfather, who founded our winery in 1896. 
Marika, an Estonian sommelier, brings a fresh perspective from working with a wine on the floor.

Together, we craft wines that showcase the true potential of the Rheinhessen region—honoring its rich winemaking traditions while embracing a thoughtful, natural winemaking approach. 

By working with nature, it is fascinating for us to make a wine where you can truly taste what a particular vintage has brought us.

Therefore, it should go without saying that it is crucial for us to produce wines that are as pure as possible—strictly hand-harvested, without filtration, without additives, etc.
